Biography

Tuan La is a partner and founder of La Tax & Accounting LLC, a Houston (Texas) based accounting firm that serves Tax Consulting and Planning as well as Accounting Services. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he believes minimizing taxes today can greatly enhance one’s wealth tomorrow.

With an extensive experience, he has a creative and interdisciplinary approach to tax planning for businesses and individuals. He loves working with businesses and their owners in various industries including real estate, manufacturing, trucking, professional services, restaurants and other industries.

Education

Master of Science in Accounting degree from University of Houston in 2007

Career

After earning his Master of Science in Accounting degree from University of Houston in 2007, he began his career as a tax accountant with Dishongh, Jankowski & Eubank, an accounting firm in Houston.

He joined Briggs & Veselka, focusing on small and medium size businesses after obtaining his CPA license.

Before starting his own accounting firm, his last position was with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) working closely with Publicly Traded Partnership clients.

Working with clients from simple to complex tax and accounting situations has provided Tuan broad and valuable knowledge that helps guiding his clients in business decisions with regard to needs, goals and risks.
